Amy graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelors’ Degree in Medical Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) in 2004. She began her career in private practice taking a position at a busy clinic in Calgary, Alberta. Amy moved to Nanaimo in 2008 to be closer to family and to enjoy a more laid back and outdoor lifestyle.

Amy firmly believes in communicating well with her clients and suiting their needs with the appropriate treatment modality. She has earned her certifications in Medical Acupuncture (2005), Gunn IMS (2010), and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy(2017). Whether you are seeking acupuncture for chronic pain management, an exercise program for that nagging shoulder problem or advice on pelvic health, Amy’s passion is to support her clients’ health and overall well being.​

Madeleine’s first experience with massage therapy was as a young athlete. She injured her back while on the wrestling team and was unable to train or compete. The treatment and education she received changed her life! Not only was she able to participate in the sport she loved, but it inspired her to become a Registered Massage Therapist herself. She completed the 3,000 hour program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, British Columbia in 2013. Madeleine enjoys helping people reduce their pain so they can do the things they need to do and the things they love to do. She incorporates facial work, Swedish massage, focused breathing, some deep tissue work, and lots of relaxation.

Tiffany graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, B.C., and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC. Tiffany’s passion is helping others and staying active, which is what brought her to massage therapy. She believes in treating all her clients from a person-centered approach and uses all modalities that massage has to offer, with a keen interest in myofascial and cranio-sacral work. Tiffany understands the important role the nervous system plays in our well-being and uses this knowledge to guide her treatments. Tiffany has a special interest in treating chronic stress, pain, and tension, as well as scar tissue. She enjoys helping clients create a healthy balance in their lives by regaining strength and motion. Spencer studied at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, B.C. and has been working as a BC Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2017. During this time he has gained experience in working with individuals with varying impairments such as: motor vehicle accidents, work place injuries, scar tissue, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, osteoarthritis and many muscular and joint impairments. Using many different massage styles and modalities such as deep tissue, dynamic techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, he has been able to help a wide variety of patients find relief from chronic and acute injuries.

Spencer has always had a passion for human anatomy and finding out how it works as well as solving the puzzles when it doesn’t. Iz actually started his massage journey in Zenthai Shiatsu Therapy in Australia, he then returned to Canada and brought with him his new found skill, art and passion. After which he decided to become a well rounded therapist to bring together the holistic perspective of eastern bodywork with the in depth Western scientific understanding of the human body by becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. Laurie Shaw graduated from Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School in Toronto, Ontario.

Laurie has extensive experience helping clients with many conditions but she also is happy to help with general discomfort and tension you may be feeling. If there is a specific issue like head aches, decrease shoulder movement, jaw/back/neck/hip/knee or foot pain she will apply her assessment skills and use modalities like massage, trigger point therapy, joint play or pnf to help restore function and decrease/eliminate pain. She does not offer full body or prenatal massage.
